JustWhy
Had the Cystocopy done (aka camera put into my bladder) UUURG NO NO NO NO IT WAS SO UNPLEASANT not that it was super painful it was just. n0

My bladder looks okay. No tumors, growths of any kind, ulcers, anything. But I'm still retaining urine and don't feel it. And had another urinary tract infection SURPRISE.

Actually when he got the camera in, he was like. "...Your bladder is full..." his voice was so :| lol cause he'd had me go pee RIGHT before we started. And I did. and it didn't feel like I had to go but apparently my bladder was quite full when he got the camera in. he had to drain it. then he pumped it full of sterile water while he looked around, and afterwards he told me to go empty my bladder but he paused and goes. "Do you feel the urge to go?" "No." "...go anyway." and I did. I CAN GO I just don't feel like I need to. I mean I do get the feeling of 'I need to pee' but not very often.

Also had the issue of, he warned me that he was about to push the camera against the back of my bladder? he did it and I went "I didn't feel anything." and he was like "...oh. Okay." but I could tell he was internally like WELP

Cause afterwards he told me I have to do a fancy smancy test that involves getting a catheter, electrodes hooked to my bladder (somehow???) and a series of x-rays. I've already forgotten what the test is called, he only said it once. I dunno when it is yet, I have to wait to be called to be scheduled.

But yeah

I have such a fun life guys

Yikes, I'm sorry you had to go through that, bb. :c

Maybe something is wrong with the nerves in your bladder? At least that's what I'm assuming he thinks...

Meeeeeee too :C hopefully never again

Yeah he thinks there's a problem with the nerve impulses. He'd mentioned this at my first appointment, because of my other random neurological symptoms I'd told him about and my pain. He said something just doesn't seem quite right.

Least he's determined.

I'd make a joke about peeing but this is actually pretty... urgh. I have no idea what that would've felt like, but I know it wasn't... comfortable in the least >.<

So... nerve damage in the bladder? Something happened and killed all senses from the bladder to your brain? WTF. Never heard of that before (and apparently neither has the doctor -w-)

Will anyone ever have answers?! Find out next week on "Fuck my body and all the shit its giving me"

Seriously though, hope you feel better .^.

It felt very. very weird. Then he pushed his finger into my urethra dnflkdf lol that didn't hurt that just felt like pressure and I was like well this is a first.

Nerve damage in the bladder and possible other places? With all my crazy problems, he's not sure. My doctors never wanna say they think it IS something, they just go "it's a possibility" but he was saying it at my first appointment, and then after he did this he seemed a lot more convinced

Thanks <3

; A ; oh god I think I would just fall over and die.

They never want to say until they're 90% sure it's something -w- See, now would be a good time for House to be a real person.

I had a catheter once and I hated it, so I could only imagine what it would be like to have a camera put in one's bladder. I'm sorry that you still don't have any answers...;_;

yeah he said the next test is painless but it involved a catheter so im just like YOU LIE cause. meh. but the camera was moving in and out (which goooooooooood GOD NO), so the catheter they get in. it stops moving. So I'm guessing it's not as unpleasant as the camera. Still unpleasant. but not AS unpleasant.

Hopefully soon. I don't know how we ended up HERE OF ALL PLACES

Gotta love it when the doctor isn't 100% truthful about a procedure. Then again, everyone is different. Take me for example, after I had surgery last year, the doctor was baffled as to why I was still hurting. Then I come to find out, there is a good chance I have Fibromyalgia. I know I wouldn't be able to handle a camera moving in and out of my bladder, you are way more brave then me!

I guess they are just to the point they are unsure what is going on with you and they want to rule out every possibility?! I just wish the doctors had some answers for you...;_;
