I went to see a Urologist today because for over a year I’ve had chronic urinary tract infections with no real symptoms (no burning or pain, just the nausea could be accredited to it) But it’s been this massive ????? cause nothing ever comes from it and no one has ever been able to give me an answer. Well I FINALLY got in to see a Urologist. And guess what? More problems.
My bladder doesn’t empty.
The joke was that my bladder empties like an elderly man’s bladder. They did an ultra sound after I went pee and he said I had 300 ml in my bladder. He kept going “Do you still feel like you have to pee?” No. “Are you sure?” Yes. “But you should need to pee.” I don’t need to pee. “Go pee anyway.” :| and I did a little. They did the ultrasound again and I had 254 ml of urine in my bladder.
IDK I’ve never peed much and I don’t really feel the need to pee often. I get dehydrated easy. That’s why I fainted back in May, I was on a diuretic and didn’t urinate (even though I was drinking lots of fluids). But we always credited that to the fact that when I was in high school I trained myself not to have to pee during the day because I didn’t want to use the bathrooms, because I’d get bullied. Get caught in there with some asshole girls (and it definitely happened). So.
Either way, he said this can be causing pain and can be causing me to be nauseated/vomiting. We just need to figure out WHY my bladder refuses to empty (and why my body isn’t telling me that I don’t need to pee).
So I get to have a Cystoscopy. AKA they are sticking a camera into my bladder.

Scuse me I’m gonna go cry
He told me it’s uncomfortable and there’s mild pain but it’s not bad. He said it’s like getting a catheter (which I’ve never had) and he said that women told him that if I can handle a pap-smear I can handle this. Urrg. Why. But he said it’s looking for any signs of growths or inflammation so it needs to be done. If it yields nothing, we’ll go from there.
